Description
The issue is related to the improper handling of objects in memory by the kernel-mode driver in Windows, allowing local users to gain elevated privileges via a crafted application. This could enable attackers to read arbitrary amounts of kernel memory.

For Windows XP versions SP2 and SP3, update to a newer version of Windows to mitigate the risk.
