CVE-2014-1744

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 35.0.1916.114
Description The issue is related to an integer overflow in the AudioInputRendererHost::OnCreateStream function. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have other impacts by triggering a large shared-memory allocation. The vulnerability can be exploited via vectors that cause this large allocation.
Recommendations For versions prior to 35.0.1916.114, update to version 35.0.1916.114 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the AudioInputRendererHost::OnCreateStream function until a patch is applied.
