Description
The issue is related to memory corruption, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service. It is also described as a use-after-free error when working with the ClmpAry object. This could enable attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user by accessing objects in memory improperly.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 through 8, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially malicious websites to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
