CVE-2014-1740

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 34.0.1847.137
Description The issue is related to multiple use-after-free vulnerabilities in the WebSockets implementation, specifically in the net/websockets/websocket job.cc component. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have other unspecified impacts via vectors related to WebSocketJob deletion.
Recommendations For versions prior to 34.0.1847.137, update to version 34.0.1847.137 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of WebSockets functionality until the update is applied.
