Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 28.0

Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in resource consumption and application hang, via
onbeforeunload events that trigger background JavaScript execution. This can be exploited by an attacker to cause the application to become unresponsive.Recommendations
For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 28.0, update to version 28.0 or later to resolve the issue.
For SeaMonkey versions prior to 2.25, update to version 2.25 or later to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of
onbeforeunload events in JavaScript code until a patch is available.Exploit
