Description
The issue exists due to incorrect processing of management session information during privilege validation for SSL VPN portal connections. This allows remote authenticated users to gain elevated privileges by establishing a Clientless SSL VPN session and entering specially crafted URLs.
Recommendations
For versions 8.x through 8.2(5.47), update to version 8.2(5.48) or later.
For versions 8.3 through 8.3(2.39), update to version 8.3(2.40) or later.
For versions 8.4 through 8.4(7.8), update to version 8.4(7.9) or later.
For versions 8.6 through 8.6(1.12), update to version 8.6(1.13) or later.
For versions 9.0 through 9.0(4.0), update to version 9.0(4.1) or later.
For versions 9.1 through 9.1(4.2), update to version 9.1(4.3) or later.
