The issue is related to the improper handling of thread-owned objects by the Windows kernel-mode driver, which can allow an attacker to gain elevated privileges. If successfully exploited, an attacker could run arbitrary code in kernel mode, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full administrative rights.
