CVE-2012-1507

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions OrangeHRM versions prior to 2.7
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the newHspStatus parameter to "plugins/ajaxCalls/haltResumeHsp.php", the sortOrder1 parameter to "templates/hrfunct/emppop.php", or the uri parameter to "index.php".
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.7, update to version 2.7 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the affected parameters newHspStatus, sortOrder1, and uri in their respective endpoints until a patch is available.
