Description The issue allows local users to execute arbitrary code and conduct DLL hijacking attacks. This can be achieved via a Trojan horse dwmapi.dll located in the same folder as a .jpg file.

Recommendations For Corel PaintShop Pro versions prior to 16.0.0.113, update to a version newer than 16.0.0.113 to resolve the issue. For Corel PaintShop Pro version 15.2.0.2 and earlier, update to a version newer than 15.2.0.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the execution of files from untrusted locations to minimize the risk of exploitation.
