Description The issue allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the search or orderby parameter to "wp-admin/admin.php". This can be leveraged using CSRF to allow remote unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.2.1, update to version 2.2.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the wp-admin/admin.php endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the search and orderby parameters in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.
