CVE-2013-1890

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ownCloud Server versions prior to 5.0.1
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the new name parameter to the "apps/bookmarks/ajax/renameTag.php" API endpoint or multiple unspecified parameters to unknown files in "apps/contacts/ajax/".
Recommendations For ownCloud Server versions prior to 5.0.1, update to version 5.0.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "apps/bookmarks/ajax/renameTag.php" API endpoint and avoiding the use of the new name parameter until the issue is resolved. Additionally, limit interactions with the "apps/contacts/ajax/" module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
