CVE-2013-7183

CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:A/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Seowon Intech SWC-9100 routers (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by rebooting the device or reset all configuration values to their factory defaults. This can be achieved by exploiting the cgi-bin/reboot.cgi endpoint, specifically through a default reboot action for denial of service or a factory default action for resetting configurations.
Recommendations For Seowon Intech SWC-9100 routers, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the cgi-bin/reboot.cgi endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the default reboot and factory default actions in the cgi-bin/reboot.cgi endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
