CVSS v4.0

8.9

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Neo4J version 1.9.2
Description The issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved through requests to API endpoints such as "db/data/ext/GremlinPlugin/graphdb/execute script" or "db/manage/server/console/".
Recommendations For Neo4J version 1.9.2, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the API endpoints "db/data/ext/GremlinPlugin/graphdb/execute script" and "db/manage/server/console/" to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
