Description The issue allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory. This can be achieved via certain system calls, including recvfrom, recvmmsg, or recvmsg. The nr recvmsg function in net/netrom/af netrom.c updates a length value without ensuring the associated data structure has been initialized.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 3.12.4, update to version 3.12.4 or later to resolve the issue.
