Description The issue concerns the OSPF implementation, which does not account for duplicate Link State ID values in Link State Advertisement (LSA) packets. This oversight allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in routing disruption, or obtain sensitive packet information by sending a crafted LSA packet.
Recommendations For Junos versions through 13.x: Update to a version that addresses this issue. For JunosE: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. For ScreenOS versions through 6.3.x: Update to a version that addresses this issue.
