Description The issue allows remote attackers to obtain access more easily due to a hardcoded password 'donotedit' for the VDAD and VDCL users.
Recommendations For VICIDIAL dialer versions 2.8-403a, 2.7, 2.7RC1, and earlier, consider changing the hardcoded password 'donotedit' for the VDAD and VDCL users to a secure password as a temporary workaround. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
