Description
The issue is related to the crypto.generateCRMFRequest method, which does not properly validate a certain key type. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, by triggering the generation of a key that supports the Elliptic Curve ec-dual-use algorithm.
Recommendations
For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 28.0, update to version 28.0 or later to resolve the issue.
For SeaMonkey versions prior to 2.25, update to version 2.25 or later to resolve the issue.
