Description The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the socket.recvfrom into function in Modules/socketmodule.c. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted string.
Recommendations For Python versions 2.5 through 2.7.6, update to version 2.7.7 or later. For Python versions 3.x through 3.3.3, update to version 3.3.4 or later. For Python versions 3.4.x through 3.4rc1 before the release, update to version 3.4 or later.
