Description The issue is related to the nfs name snoop add name function in the NFS dissector, which does not validate a certain length value. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in memory corruption and application crash, via a crafted NFS packet.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 1.8.x through 1.8.12, update to version 1.8.13 or later. For Wireshark versions 1.10.x through 1.10.5, update to version 1.10.6 or later.
