Description The issue allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a crafted call to the ChkCookie subroutine in an ActiveX control. This is due to a flaw in the broadweb/include/gChkCook.asp component of Advantech WebAccess.

Recommendations For versions prior to 7.2, update to version 7.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the broadweb/include/gChkCook.asp component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
