Description The issue is related to the Transactional Memory (TM) implementation in the Linux kernel, specifically the arch dup task struct function. This function does not properly interact with the clone and fork system calls when the processor is in the Transactional state, allowing local users to cause a denial of service (Program Check and system crash) via certain instructions.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 3.13.7, update to version 3.13.7 or later to resolve the issue.
