CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions KnowledgeTree versions 3.7.0.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is related to the getFileName function in the KTAPI UserSession class. The get active session function in mdownload.php is vulnerable to SQL injection via the u parameter.
Recommendations For KnowledgeTree versions 3.7.0.2 and earlier, consider restricting access to the get active session function in mdownload.php until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the u parameter in the affected API endpoint. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
