Description The issue is related to the authentication-manager process in the web framework, which does not properly manage user tokens. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a temporary hang of the MainApp, via a crafted connection request to the management interface.
Recommendations For Cisco Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) versions 7.0(8)E4 and earlier, update to a version later than 7.0(8)E4 to resolve the issue. For Cisco Intrusion Detection System (IDS), at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
