Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the
ndp msg opt dnssl domain function in libndp, which can be exploited by remote routers. This can lead to a denial of service (crash) and potentially allow the execution of arbitrary code. The exploitation occurs via a crafted DNS Search List (DNSSL) in an IPv6 router advertisement.Recommendations
