CVE-2014-3739

CVSS v2.0

5.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Zenoss version 4.2.5
Description The issue allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary web sites and conduct phishing attacks. This is achieved via a URL in the came from parameter in the /zport/acl users/cookieAuthHelper/login form API endpoint.
Recommendations For Zenoss version 4.2.5, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the /zport/acl users/cookieAuthHelper/login form API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the came from parameter in this endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
