CVE-2014-3854

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Pyplate version 0.08
Description A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to hijack administrator authentication for requests that conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This is achieved via the title parameter in the admin/addScript.py file.
Recommendations For Pyplate version 0.08, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the admin/addScript.py file until a patch is available. Avoid using the title parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
