CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Usercake versions 2.0.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that change the administrative password via the passwordc parameter or the administrative e-mail address via the email parameter. This is due to multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in the user settings.php file.
Recommendations For Usercake versions 2.0.2 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the CSRF vulnerabilities in the user settings.php file to prevent authentication hijacking. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
