CVE-2014-5335

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions innovaphone PBX versions 10.00 sr11 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that modify configurations or user accounts. This can be achieved through crafted requests to specific API endpoints, such as "CMD0/mod cmd.xml" for changing the administrator password or "PBX0/ADMIN/mod cmd login.xml" for adding a new SIP user.
Recommendations For innovaphone PBX versions 10.00 sr11 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "CMD0/mod cmd.xml" and "PBX0/ADMIN/mod cmd login.xml" API endpoints to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
