| Vector | AV:A/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Kaspersky Internet Security (aka com.kms.free) version 11.4.4.232
Description
The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations
For version 11.4.4.232, consider updating to a newer version that properly verifies X.509 certificates to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to sensitive information when using this version to minimize the risk of exploitation.
