CVSS v2.0
5.4
Medium
| Vector | AV:A/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Hello Kitty Cafe (aka com.sd.google.helloKittyCafe) version 1.4.0
Description
The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations
For version 1.4.0, consider implementing certificate pinning or verifying X.509 certificates from SSL servers to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict network access to trusted sources until a patch is available.
