CVE-2014-5737

CVSS v2.0

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:A/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions CDsoft (aka com.wCDSOFT) application version 0.2 for Android
Description The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations For CDsoft (aka com.wCDSOFT) application version 0.2, consider implementing proper X.509 certificate verification to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of sensitive information transmission until a proper fix is applied. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
