CVSS v2.0

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:A/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions DataGard VPN + AV (aka ocshield.com) application @7F050013 for Android
Description The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations For the DataGard VPN + AV application @7F050013, consider disabling the SSL connection feature until a patch is available that properly verifies X.509 certificates from SSL servers. Restrict access to sensitive information when using the application over SSL to minimize the risk of exploitation.
