CVE-2014-5909

CVSS v2.0

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:A/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions watcha (aka com.frograms.watcha) version 2.0.2
Description The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations For version 2.0.2, consider updating the application to a version that properly verifies X.509 certificates from SSL servers to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of sensitive information within the application until a proper fix is applied.
