CVE-2014-6865

CVSS v2.0

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:A/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The Jamal Bates Show (aka com.conduit.app 3a95e13827c54c4da9056fafb33ecc8d.app) version 1.3.14.254
Description The application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers. This allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
Recommendations For version 1.3.14.254, consider implementing certificate pinning or validating X.509 certificates from SSL servers to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict the application's access to sensitive information until a proper fix is applied. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
