Description
The issue is related to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the login page. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified "welcome message" form data. The data is improperly handled during the rendering of the loginMessage list item.
Recommendations
For ZyXEL SBG-3300 Security Gateway versions 1.00(AADY.4)C0 and earlier, consider disabling the login page or restricting access to it until a fix is available. Avoid using the vulnerable "welcome message" form data in the login page to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
