Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
USF BCM (aka com.appmakr.app193115) application 252847 for Android
Description
The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations
For the USF BCM application 252847, consider implementing proper X.509 certificate validation to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of sensitive information transmission until a proper fix is applied. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
