| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
EspoCRM versions prior to 2.6.0
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
desc parameter in an errors action to "install/index.php". This is a cross-site scripting (XSS) issue.Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.6.0, update to version 2.6.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the install/index.php endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
desc parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.Exploit
