Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted image file. This is due to a problem in the HorizontalFilter function in resize.c.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.8.9-9, update to version 6.8.9-9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the HorizontalFilter function in resize.c until a patch is available.
