Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, consuming CPU and memory resources via a crafted XML-RPC request. This is achieved through an XML Entity Expansion (XEE) attack.

Recommendations For versions prior to 3.0.6, update to version 3.0.6 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the XML RPC cd function in lib/pear/XML/RPC.php to minimize the risk of exploitation.
