CVE-2014-9395

CVSS v2.0

6.8

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Simplelife plugin versions 1.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This is achieved via the simplehoverback, simplehovertext, flickrback, or simple flimit parameter in the "simplelife.php" page to "wp-admin/options-general.php".
Recommendations For Simplelife plugin versions 1.2 and earlier, consider disabling the parameters simplehoverback, simplehovertext, flickrback, and simple flimit in the simplelife.php page until a patch is available. Restrict access to the simplelife.php page to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
