Description The issue allows a remote attacker to cause problems. In the case of the Cisco Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) Software, a race condition in the TLS implementation can lead to a denial of service. For the Context Directory Agent (CDA), an attacker can modify the device cache using specially crafted RADIUS protocol packets.
Recommendations For Cisco Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) Software versions prior to 7.3(3)E4, update to version 7.3(3)E4 or later. For Context Directory Agent (CDA), at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
