CVE-2015-0804

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 37.0
Description The issue is related to the HTMLSourceElement::BindToTree function in Mozilla Firefox, which does not properly constrain a data type after omitting namespace validation during certain tree-binding operations. This allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (use-after-free) via a crafted HTML document containing a SOURCE element.
Recommendations For versions prior to 37.0, update to version 37.0 or later to resolve the issue.
