CVE-2015-1264

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 43.0.2357.65
Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows user-assisted remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via crafted data that is improperly handled by the Bookmarks feature. This can be achieved by forming special pointers to the Bookmarks element. The issue affects Google Chrome and may also impact Opera.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 43.0.2357.65, update to version 43.0.2357.65 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Bookmarks feature until a patch is available.
