Description
The issue is related to memory corruption and improper access to objects in memory, which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service. This can occur when a user visits a crafted web site. If successfully exploited, an attacker could gain control of an affected system, allowing them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights, especially if the current user has administrative privileges.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 through 9, update to a version that is not affected by this issue to prevent exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
