Description The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in dynamic memory, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service via a specially crafted web site. This can lead to memory corruption. The vulnerability exists due to improper access to objects in memory, potentially allowing an attacker to gain the same user rights as the current user. If the current user has administrative rights, the attacker could take complete control of the affected system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 8 and 9, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
