Description The issue is related to a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the auth/shibboleth/logout.php component of the Moodle learning management system. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to disrupt the authentication procedure for arbitrary users by using specially crafted requests.

Recommendations For Moodle versions prior to 2.5.10, update to version 2.5.10 or later. For Moodle versions 2.6.x through 2.6.6, update to version 2.6.7 or later. For Moodle versions 2.7.x through 2.7.3, update to version 2.7.4 or later. For Moodle versions 2.8.x through 2.8.1, update to version 2.8.2 or later.
