Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions libvdpau versions prior to 1.1.1
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in certain functions of the libvdpau library. It can be exploited by a local attacker to elevate privileges by manipulating the VDPAU DRIVER PATH environment variable.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.1.1, update to version 1.1.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the VDPAU DRIVER PATH environment variable to minimize the risk of exploitation.
