Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Windows (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the Windows operating system, allowing a local attacker to potentially elevate their privileges using a specially crafted application. Additionally, multiple elevation of privilege vulnerabilities are present in Windows when the kernel-mode driver fails to properly handle objects in memory. This could enable an attacker to run arbitrary code in kernel mode, install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights. To exploit these vulnerabilities, an attacker would first need to log on to the system.
