| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Internet Explorer (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service via a specially crafted website. Remote code execution is possible due to improper memory object access by Internet Explorer, potentially corrupting memory and enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the user has administrative rights, a successful exploit could grant the attacker control over the affected system, allowing them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
