Description The issue is related to the CFNetwork HTTPProtocol component mishandling HSTS state, allowing remote attackers to bypass the Safari private-browsing protection mechanism and track users via a crafted web site. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to bypass privacy protections in Safari.
Recommendations For versions prior to 9, update to iOS version 9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive information while browsing to minimize the risk of exploitation.
